He Jun, male, was born in September 1974. He is a CPC member, master, doctor and second-level professor. He served as the Dean of the School of Physics and Electronics and the Dean of the Undergraduate School of Central South University, and now serves as the Member of Standing Committee of CPC Committee and the Vice President of Central South University.
Major research areas: Ultrafast nonlinear optics, semiconductor spintronics, graphene-like 2D materials and devices.
He has received such titles and honors as recipient of National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars (2012), member of “New Century Excellent Talents of the Ministry of Education” (2011), Hunan Science Fund for Outstanding Young Scholars (2012), distinguished professor of Fu-Rong Scholar of Hunan Province (2015) and Baosteel Excellent Teacher Award, 1 first prize and 1 second prize of the higher education teaching achievement award of Hunan Province, and 1 second prize of the natural science award of Hunan Province.
He was elected as member of the 12th CPPCC of Hunan Province.
He presides over undergraduate teaching, continuing education and history of the University.
