Lyu Ben, male, was born in May 1983. He is a CPC member, doctor of medicine, researcher and associate chief physician. He served as the Director of the Department of Hospital Administration of Central South University, and he now serves as the Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Committee and the Vice President of Central South University
Major research areas: Basic and clinical research of critical illness and hematology.
He has possessed such titles as the “Recipient of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars (2020)” and the “Recipient of National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars (2014)”. He presides over the projects such as the National Key Research and Development Program and key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published a series of research articles in academic journals such asScienceandNature. He has been the winner of the inaugural Tencent "Xplorer Prize" in the medical field, the inaugural Zhong Nanshan Youth Science and Technology Innovation Award, the Shulan Medical Youth Award, the China Youth Science and Technology Award, the National Exemplary Youth Post Expert, the First Prize of the Natural Science Award of Hunan Province, and the "May Fourth Youth" Medal of Hunan Province.
He served as the Member of the 13th Hunan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
