On September 16-23, Li Jingsheng, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of CSU, led a delegation to attend the 34th Annual Conference and Exhibition of the European Association for International Education (EAIE) held in Toulouse, France, and visited several renowned universities in Spain.
Founded in 1989, EAIE is a professional association originating in Europe and serving higher education international exchange professionals worldwide. Held annually in September, the EAIE Annual Conference is one of the most influential international education exchange events in Europe. This year's conference, themed “En Route”, attracted over 255 educational institutions from more than 90 countries and regions, with over 7,000 education professionals in attendance. The visit was organized by the China Education Association for International Exchange, with 25 universities collectively showcasing the achievements of educational reform and development in China. At the conference and exhibition, the CSU delegation held discussions and exchanged views on topics such as student exchange programs, dual-degree programs, and international student enrollment with nearly 20 universities, including the National University of Singapore, University of Kent (UK), University of Tours (France), University of Orléans (France), University of Milan (Italy), and University of Johannesburg (South Africa).

During the trip, the delegation also visited the Chinese Embassy in Spain, the Department of East Asian Studies at Complutense University of Madrid, and IE University, and exchanged ideas on developing inter-university cooperation.
