CSU Loong & Lion Dance Team Visited Korea

On 11 January, the 2017 Happy Chinese New Year in Korea, a major Korea-China cultural exchange activity, was held at G-tower in Songdo, Incheon, and guests from both countries, including Chinese Ambassador to Korea Qiu Guohong and Incheon Mayor Yoo Jeong-bok, attended the activity. In the morning, the Colorful Hunan lion dance training consisting of three sections was launched as the first program at Floor 3, G-tower, attracting many foreign visitors and staff from Chinese permanent institutions to Korea. The lion dance performance and training was conducted by CSU loong & lion dance team.

During the activity, CSU loong & lion dance team fully demonstrated the beauty of dragon and lion dance. This not only represents an opportunity to introduce Korean people to Chinese culture, but also serves to solidify the friendship between peoples of both sides and strengthen the friendly exchanges and cooperation between both countries.

The 2017 Happy Chinese New Year event in Korea was jointly organized by the Incheon City government, Chinas Ministry of Culture, Chinas Embassy in Korea and the Peoples Government of Hunan Province, and will end on 28 February. The event consists of some 40 activities under 11 themes, including Colorful Hunan lion dance performance, Colorful Hunan lion dance training, Colorful Hunan New Year concert, Colorful Hunan exhibition of Hunan's intangible cultural heritage, Colorful Hunan advertising film of Chinese culture and Hunan, Colorful Hunan New Year celebration parade at Incheons Chinatown, oracle painting exhibition, New Look of Silk Road 2016 picture exhibition, Sino-Korea cultural celebrity reception, trade forum for cultural products, and New Year celebration film show.
