Application Procedures for Foreign Undergraduates to Study at CSU

PhD degree candidates: 4 years
Application requirements:
Excellent Non-Chinese graduates from key universities，
No more than 35 years old for Master-degree study.
No more than 40 years old for PhD study.
Only Chinese is available for those who want to major in languages.
Application Time:March 1 to May 30 each year.

1.Apply online:http://application.csu.edu.cn/member/login.doFill in the application form and download it.
2.Pay for the application fee of 500 RMB or 90 USD.

3.Required documents need to be sent to Overseas Students Offic of CSU before May 30 each year:（Documents are not returned）
A.Printed online application form from CSU
B.Copy of the passport (over 6 months validity)
C.Foreigner Physical Examination Form(Photocopy) and copies of blood test reports and reports of ECG and X-ray of chest (issued within 6 months, it would be better if it is issuedafter January)
D. Highest diploma translated in English or Chinese (Notarized photocopy)
E. Transcript of the highest diploma translated in English or Chinese(Notarized photocopy)
F. Two letters of recommendation from different professors with signature and detailed contact information such as telephone number and email address (issued within 6 months, it would be better if it is issuedafter January)
G. Study Plan of no less than 800 words (not an abstract or published articles)
H. Non-criminal certificate translated in English or Chinese with a declaration of "no criminal record", an official seal and a signature (issued by a local police departments within 6 months, it would be better if it is issuedafter January)
I. Bank remittance of application fee
4. The admission notice and JW202 form will be sent from CSU once students are informed qualified.
