Jiang Jianxiang
Deputy Secretary of CPC Committee
Jiang Jianxiang, male, was born in December 1965. He is a CPC member, master, doctor and researcher. He served as the Director of the President Office, the Director of CPC Committee Office, the Dean of the Law School, the Director of the General Office and the Assistant to the President of Central South University (CSU), and now serves as the Deputy Secretary of CPC Committee of CSU.
Major research areas: Civil and commercial law, economic law.
He received such honors and titles as specialist enjoying Special Government Allowance of the State Council, Top 10 Most Influential Rule of Law Figures of Hunan Province, and No.1 of Top 10 CCTV Annual Rule of Law Figures of Hunan Province (2011). He has won 1 national-level teaching achievement award (second prize) and 1 provincial-level teaching achievement award (first prize) of Hunan Province. He has published dozens of papers on academic journals such asChina Legal Science,Political and Legal Forum,Science of Law, andPolitical Science and Law, and 5 academic monographs.
He was elected as the member of the Standing Committee of the 13th People’s Congress of Hunan Province, the member of the Legislative Affairs Commission of the 13th People’s Congress of Hunan Province, the deputy to the 13th People’s Congress of Hunan Province, and the deputy to the 15th People’s Congress of Changsha Municipality.
