Delegation Led by Bruno Lapika Dimomfu, UNIKIN's Administrative Secretary General , Visits CSU

On November 11, a delegation led by Bruno Lapika Dimomfu, Administrative Secretary General of the University of Kinshasa (UNIKIN), visited CSU. CSU Vice President Li Zhihong attended the meeting, along with relevant heads of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges, the School of Minerals Processing and Bioengineering, and the School of International Education.

Li extended a warm welcome to the delegation. He introduced the basic information on CSU’s academic strengths, talent training, scientific research, and international students from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). He also extended his wishes for more cooperation in fields of mining and medicine to facilitate educational and cultural exchanges between China and the DRC.

Bruno Lapika Dimomfu expressed his gratitude for CSU’s warm reception and briefly introduced UNIKIN. He looks forward to future collaboration in the fields of science and engineering, particularly in mining resources and medical disciplines, as well as the expansion of cooperation and exchanges in humanities and social sciences.

On behalf of their respective institutions, Li Zhihong and Bruno Lapika Dimomfu then signed an agreement on cooperation and exchanges. The agreement stipulates that the two parties shall cooperate in faculty and student exchanges, and scientific research collaboration.

During their journey, the delegation also visited the Xiangya Hospital.
