On November 19, a delegation led by Nuria González Álvarez, Rector of the University of León (ULE), visited CSU. CSU Vice President Li Zhihong attended the meeting, along with relevant heads of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges, the Business School, and the School of International Education.
Li extended a warm welcome to Nuria González Álvarez and her delegation. He expressed his hope for establishing a communication mechanism between the two universities, and deepening and implementing educational and scientific research cooperation based on the agreement signed in 2023.
Nuria González Álvarez introduced ULE’s strengths in education and advantageous disciplines, and emphasized school characteristics in Chinese language education. She hoped that the two institutions could enhance their collaboration in student exchange programs, short-term faculty training, and joint scientific research.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed about the launch of term projects, dual-degree programs, and master’s degree programs in mechanical engineering, business, and Spanish.
