Recently, Huang Jianling, Deputy Secretary of CPC Committee of CSU, led a delegation to Germany and France for the visit of RWTH Aachen University (Germany), Polytech Nice Sophia (France), the Continental Law Foundation (France), and the University of Orléans (France).
During their visit in Germany, Huang Jianling and his delegation met with Bernd Markert, Chairman of the RWTH Aachen University Foundation and Director of the Institute of General Mechanics. They exchanged views and reached a cooperation consensus on short-term exchange programs in engineering, “4+2” student training program, faculty and student exchanges, and scientific research cooperation. Both sides expressed that the two universities enjoy a high degree of similarity in school characteristics and program offerings, indicating broad prospects for cooperation.

In France, Huang Jianling met with Marc Gaetano, Vice President of Polytech Nice Sophia, and carried out in-depth exchanges on engineering graduate student exchange program between the two universities that is undertaken by the National Graduate College for Engineers at CSU. During the visit to the Continental Law Foundation, the two sides explored the potential talent cultivation and academic cooperation in the fields of law, business and management. Representatives of École Normale Supérieure de Rennes also participated in the meeting and signed a framework cooperation agreement with CSU.

Huang Jianling also met with Luigi Agrofoglio and Anne Delouis, Vice Presidents of the University of Orléans, discussed the financial agreement for the Confucius Institute at the University of Orléans, listened to the reports on the work of the Confucius Institute made by the Chinese director Zhang Feng and the French director Guillaume Giroir, and visited the teachers dispatched to the Confucius Institute. Luigi Agrofoglio said that the University of Orléans will continue to support the development of the Confucius Institute in partnership with CSU. Huang Jianling expressed his sincere gratitude and said that, going forward, CSU will leverage the Confucius Institute as a platform to further promote the cooperation in scientific research innovation and talent cultivation between the two universities, and contribute to the development of Sino-French educational exchanges.
