At the celebration ceremony of the fifth anniversary, Zhao Bin recognized the achievements of CI in carrying out Chinese language education and cultural exchange activities in DR Congo over the past five years, and encouraged CI to keep up the good work and continue to contribute to cultural exchanges and educational cooperation between China and DR Congo with the support of CSU and the Chinese International Education Foundation.

Ma Xinqiang pointed out that with the joint efforts of all parties, CI has not only made a significant breakthrough in the scale of teaching sites and student enrollment, but also actively explored the education model of “Chinese language + vocational skills”. CI will try to build a development model of "One City, One Belt" for international Chinese language education in DR Congo, and expand Chinese language education beyond Kinshasa to the mining areas, such as Lubumbashi and Kolwezi, in the near future.

Fifteen finalists from the National Institute of the Arts of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, University of Kinshasa, Gombe Secondary School, and CI main campus presented well-prepared Chinese performances such as dance, martial arts, recitation and singing.
