On October 31, Jason Norris, Director of Global Partnerships, and Zhi Qiu Finlay, Director of China, at the University of Dundee (UOD), visited Central South University (CSU). Director Yin Gang and Deputy Director Chen Qiang of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges (OICE), attended the meeting.
Yin Gang warmly welcomed Jason Norris and his team, introduced the profile of CSU and the basic responsibilities of OICE, and expressed his wishes to further deepen the cooperation between the two universities based on the existing partnership. Jason Norris expressed his gratitude to CSU for the warm welcome and gave a brief introduction of the profile of UOD and the subsequent cooperation arrangements between the two universities. The two sides also exchanged views on the operation of Dundee International Institute (DII) and the expansion of cooperation in the fields of life sciences and medicine. Both sides expressed their expectation to maintain communication in the future and work together to achieve more cooperative results.
During the visit, Jason Norris and his team also visited DII and had a meeting with leaders of the School of Life Sciences.
