Jason Norris, Director of Global Partnerships of the UK’s University of Dundee, and his delegation paid a visit to Central South University on June 7. The two sides held talks in the conference room of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges. Director Bai Yi of the Office and some of his colleagues attended the talks.
Director Bai Yi conveyed warm welcomes to Mr. Jason and his delegation, and expressed the aspirations for further cooperation between the universities. Mr. Jason thanked Central South University for their hospitality. The two sides exchanged views on the formation process of the cooperation agreement, the freshmen entrance ceremony of Dundee International Institute of CSU, the upcoming visit by the principal of University of Dundee, possible expansion of cooperation disciplines, scientific research cooperation and other specific matters. Through the communication, both universities have further enhanced mutual understanding and reached a preliminary consensus.
During their stay in China, Mr. Jason and other UoD guests will also visit Dundee International Institute and Undergraduate School.
