Experts of Third Xiangya Hospital of Central South University, at Invitation of Chinese Consulate General in St. Petersburg, Conduct Remote Interrogation of Overseas Chinese in Consular District

On June 25, 2021, five medical experts from the Third Xiangya Hospital of Central South University were invited by the Chinese Consulate General in St. Petersburg to conduct an online interrogation for overseas Chinese in the consular district, which lasted about 90 minutes and involved nearly 30 people. This was the fourth online interrogation by the Hospital experts at the invitation of the Consulate General for Chinese compatriots after the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic.

10 infected or recovered patients with different symptoms asked questions, including post-infection symptoms and treatment methods, matters needing attention after rehabilitation, differences between COVID-19 and common flus, anti-epidemic measures and the mentality towards the epidemic. Experts gave their patient, detailed and professional answers and psychological guidance. The compatriots involved said that such unique, timely and necessary interaction fully reflected the care and concern of the Consulate General for overseas Chinese with the third breakout of the overwhelming epidemic.

On behalf of the Consulate General and overseas Chinese in the consular district, Vice Consul-General Zhang Xiaoqing expressed sincere gratitude to the experts, wished the infected compatriots a speedy recovery, and reminded everyone "not to travel or gather unless absolutely necessary" for epidemic prevention and control, and to do a good job in the personal protection and work together to fight the epidemic.
