On December 20, MBIO, an internationally authoritative journal in microbiology, online reported the discovery of tiancimycin, an enediyne natural product, by the research team led by Duan Yanwen from Xiangya International Academy for Translational Medicine of CSU. Tiancimycin, with high anti-tumor efficacy, will be the ideal warhead of conjugate antibody medicine, making accurate treatment of tumor possible.
