On November 16-21, the final of the 14^th Challenge Cup National Undergraduate Curricular Academic Science and Technology Contest sponsored by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, China Association for Science and Technology, Ministry of Education and All-China Students’ Federation was held in Guangzhou. Research on the Implementation of National Educational Policy in Hunan under the Background of “Four Comprehensive”--- Based on Researches about Five Hunan Minority Inhabited Counties by CSU won the first prize, which is the first time for CSU to obtain the first prize of education in the “Challenge Cup” Contest. Besides, students from CSU also won 1 national second prize and 2 third prizes, and CSU, the outstanding organization award.

This contest, focusing on “market elements, innovative themes and results incubation”, is jointly undertaken by Guangdong Industrial University and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, pioneering in “Co-organization by Two Colleges” and “Cooperation between Guangdong and Hong Kong”. The competition also established a jury committee headed by several academicians and composed by nearly a hundred experts and scholars, giving entries detailed text review and public inquiry.
