Frist Prize Won by CSU Students in the 8th Intel Cup National Collegiate Software Innovation Contest

On November 15th, the awarding ceremony of the 8th Intel Cup National Collegiate Software Innovation Contest Finals, sponsored by the Ministry of Education Demonstration Software Institute, supported by Intel and undertaken by Tianjin University, came to an end in Tianjin University. After fierce competition, 4 teams of CSU won two first prizes, one second and one third.

April 8, 2015 saw the opening of the 8th Intel Cup National Collegiate Software Innovation Contest, with “User Experience Innovation Base on Cloud Service” as the theme. The contest lasted more than seven months, during which a total of nearly 2000 college students participated in it. After two rounds selection of the preliminary and semi-final, 4 teams of CSU entered into the top 20 of the finals.

 The project entitled “A-Level Wallet” by TheOne, made up of such four students from School of Software as Gao Yixiao, Liu Yuan, Liu Liuyan and Liang Hao and “FEA Outdoor Emergency Platform” by YuanMeng, composed by Xu Yubo, Hu Cheng, Wei Jingwen and Chen Weiye won the first prize in the contest. The team---Rainbow, consisting of Yang Kai, Tan Qiwei, Wei Yating and Pan Mingyong won the second prize; the team--- Caterpillar, formed by Zhang Qingfeng, Hu Juncheng, Wang Lei and Tan Yaokun won the third prize. The supervisors for these three teams were respectively Chen Zhigang, Liao Zhifang, Yu Song and Yang Liu from School of Software.
