Zhou Kechao, Vice President of CSU said, this year is the 55th anniversary of the establishment of China-France diplomatic relation and the 15th anniversary of the establishment of comprehensive strategic partnership between both sides, and also the first year of opening the Confucius Institute, University of Orleans and the 100th anniversary of Chinese oversea student arriving at France. 100 years ago, thousands of ambitious Chinese youth including Zhou Enlai, Deng Xiaoping and Cai Hesen came to Montargis where they studied and derived new ideas, and exploded the development path for China through understanding western world. At that time, the seed of friendship between China and France was sowed. The Centre-Loire Valley Region in France and Hunan Province are friendly provinces; Confucius Institute, University of Orleans is another warm current of cultural fusion which flows into the long friendly river of both places. It is hoped that the exchange performance of CSU art group will become the model of cultural exchange between two countries, two places and two universities.
