CSU Students Achieve Excellence in 2018 Asian Games

Since the 2018 Asian Games in Jakartakicked off, CSU students have made every effort to courageously fight and triumphant news have kept pouring in.

Huang Guifen,a 2015 major in Athletic Training, finished second in the women’s 4*100m relay, fourth in the women’s 4*400m relay, fourth in the 4*400m medley relay and fifth in the women’s 400m. Only 21 years old, she has become a sprinter with the highest potential in Hunan Province and even China.

Zhao Changhong, a 2018 major in Athletic Training, participated in the men’s 10,000m. Among 11 players from different countries, he finished third in 30m 07.49s and won the first medal in this game for China in the Asian Games over the last 28 years. It is the first time that Zhao have taken part in such an event and his personal best in the men’s 10,000m is 30m 05.55s.

Besides, Suo Ran, a 2013 major in Athletic Training (see the photo below), won the fourth title at the women’s 50m breaststroke in 31.42s.
