Standing Committee Member
Chen Chunyang, male, was born in April 1962 in Zhangping Fujian Province. He started to work in July 1983September 1987 joined the Chinese Communist Party, Ph.D., professor, doctoral tutor. He is currently standing committee member of CPC and vice president at Central South University.
Central South University, Now a, head group member of "Joint Action Plan of Chinese High-speed Train Innovation" held by two national ministries, leader of 863 Key Project, the state supported project "Key Components and Major Equipment Development of Power Electronics," general evaluation committee of Chinese National Engineering Research Center.
He studied electronic locomotive at Southwest Jiao Tong University from September 1979 to July 1983. From July 1983 to September 2000, he worked at Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Research Institute of the Ministry of Railways, director of Sci & Tech management; vice director of Research Institute, vice chancellor of Party Committee. September 1979 to July 1983 Southwest Jiaotong University Electric Locomotive director of Research Administration, at which he served as interns, assistant engineer, engineer, director general line office, deputy director of the Institute, deputy party secretary, party secretary, director and other positions (During this period, he pursued part-time MS in Management of Science and Engineering at Hunan University from June 1997 to June 1999). From 2000 September to May 2003, he served as deputy director of Science and Technology Department at Ministry of Railways. May 2003 to January 2007, he served as party secretary of the Academy of Railway Sciences. From January 2007 to September 2013, he served as president of Southwest Jiaotong University (during which he pursued Ph.D in Management Science and Engineering from September 2001 to June 2007 at Beijing Jiaotong University doctoral). In October 2013 he worked as standing committee member and vice president at Central South University (department level).
