On June 10,CSU livestreamed itsSublimation · Cloud Forum - 2020 GlobalTalent Introduction Publicity Campaign, attracting excellent talents from home and abroad through this cloud platform.
Affected by the epidemic, CSU this year relies on this “cloud platform” for its recruitment publicity, gathering the talented youth from home and abroad on the “cloud” free from geographical restrictions. This “Sublimation·· Cloud Forum” consists of two parts: the main forum (cloud presentation) and the sub-forum (cloud communication). Through the “Cloud Presentation”, attendees can know and experience Central South University; through the “Cloud Communication”, attendees can exchange views and ideas boldly.
At the main forum held on the morning of Jun 10, Hu Yuehua, Deputy Vice President of CSU, introduced Changsha City and CSU in a comprehensive and detailed manner and expressed the University’s urgent need of outstanding talents worldwide. Tian Qinghua, Head of the Department of Human Resources, elaborated on the University’s recruitment policies. As employer representatives, Sun Wei, Dean of the School of Minerals Processing and Bioengineering, and He Xuhui, Dean of the School of Civil Engineering, took their own schools as examples to explain the current development situation, discipline construction, scientific research platform and other aspects of CSU. On behalf of the University’s 34 secondary schools, these two leaders expressed their longing towork and grow together with young talents from home and abroad in CSU. As talent representatives, Professor Lu Ben, Vice-President of the Third Xiangya Hospital of CSU, and Tan Jingqiang from School of Geosciences and Info-Physics shared about theirgrowth stories with CSU.
During this live streaming, the publicity team answered the attendees’ questions andconveyed CSU’sdevotion and efforts in creating a first-class policy environment, scientific research platform and service environment, actively building ideal platforms for talents’ pursuit of dreams, and retaining and cultivating talents.
In the meantime, the University’s sub-forums also kicked off on the same day. They were flexibly organized by secondary schools according to the characteristics of disciplines and the time zones where talents were distributed. Any talent with a doctorate degree from a well-known domestic or overseas university, or with overseas research work experience and important outcomes in a certain research field, or with good development potential and devotion to the academic research back in China can apply online and communicate through the cloud with the leaders of relevant schools, members of the Professor Committee and heads of relevant disciplines.
