CSU Concludes a Cooperation Agreement with Lublin University of Technology (Poland)

On the morning of October 23, Prof. Marzenna Dudzińska, Executive Vice President of Lublin University of Technology, visited Central South University (CSU) and concluded a cooperation agreement with CSU. Chen Chunyang, a Vice President, met with Professor Marzenna Dudzińska in Meeting Room 201 of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges to discuss the cooperation and exchanges between the two universities. Leaders from the Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges, the School of Architecture and Art, the School of Energy Science and Engineering participated in the event.

Mr. Chen Chunyang said, in recent years, CSU has focused on strengthening international exchanges with universities in various countries. At present, CSU have established friendly cooperative relations with more than 200 universities from over 40 countries. This is the first time that CSU established collaboration with a Polish university. He believed that this Agreement would enable CSU and Lublin University of Technology to establish a friendly cooperative relationship and set a good start for CSU to expand international exchanges with Polish universities in various areas.

Prof. Marzenna Dudzińska introduced the location, school history and scale, discipline construction, faculty, advanced scientific achievements of Lublin University of Technology, and their experiences in exchanges and cooperation with Chinese universities. Lublin University of Technology is located in Lublin, Poland. It was founded on May 13, 1953 and has seven major scientific disciplines including mechanical engineering, architecture and urban planning, environmental engineering, civil engineering, and information and communication technology.

The two sides exchanged and discussed the future cooperation between the two universities and signed a cooperation agreement. And both sides unanimously agreed to further deepen the links and cooperation between the two universities through joint efforts to establish international journals, working together on curriculum development, project development, joint research and joint international conferences.
